Gallery of my favorite 60° unit

Copyright © 2002 by M. Mukhopadhyay - all rights reserved

Various different polyhedra made with a favorite Tomoko Fuse unit of mine. From Japanese
book "Origami Kaleidoscope", it is a 60° triangular unit using 4:1 strip. The beauty of
these quick and easy to fold units is that one can construct virtually any polyhedron.
The models hold firm without any glue whatsoever. Below, are the models
labelled with names of the polyhedron they are based on.

Two views of a 270-unit Buckyball.
